AGN NextGenners Tackle the Talent Challenge in 2024

January 24, 2024

2024 Special Edition NextGen Program | Road To Rome… via Nashville!

Following the resounding success of the ‘Road to Tokyo’ (NextGen Program 2023), where NextGen winners graced AGN’s World Congress in Japan, AGN is thrilled to kick off the 2024 Special Edition NextGen Program. This exclusive initiative is designed to enhance young professionals’ management skills, with focus on the global challenge of talent retention and recruitment.

NextGenners have told us that amongst their highest professional frustrations is the perennial challenge of retaining and recruiting talent. This is a massive issue for 90% of members worldwide.

Winning the Talent Challenge

The 2024 “special edition” program continues to deliver premium training and content to support AGN NextGenners, adding to their skills, knowledge and global view. From the energetic vibes of Nashville to the historical allure of Rome, the program sets the stage for an unforgettable experience. A possibility of a trip to Nashville and a team adventure to Rome serves as a unique incentive for participants engaged in the talent recruitment & retention and employer branding challenge.

Road to Rome… via Nashville – Part 1

In a dynamic 90-minute webinar, NextGen participants delved into motivating and retaining colleagues and teams, guided by insights from a NextGen talent development specialist. The session showcased innovative approaches to shaping an employer brand, with NextGenners collaboratively sharing ideas in breakout sessions. Now, participants eagerly submit their talent retention and employer brand ideas, competing for an expense-paid trip to Nashville and attendance at the North America Regional Meeting and World Congress in June.

Road to Rome – Part 2

As the journey progresses into June, participants will embark on a series of webinars and team challenges. The ultimate prize awaits – a chance to win a trip to Rome for the 2024 Europe, Middle East & Africa Regional Meeting in October.

Caleb Macaluso (a member of the winning team in 2023) comments, “This program provided the opportunity to collaborate with other NextGenners from AGN firms all over the world. It helped me realise and understand that other AGN firms are going through challenges and opportunities similar to mine.” He describes his prize – a trip to Tokyo, as, “phenomenal!”
