Many countries around the world recognize a day in early August as International Friendship Day, a time to celebrate the value of peaceful friendships. The origins of this holiday go back to 1930. It was first proposed by the World Friendship Crusade in 1958 and adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2011.
Who could pick a more appropriate holiday for AGN? Take some time this month to connect with your AGN friends next door and around the globe.
