Effective 30 September 2023, Oscar Falconí, Partner at Falconi y Asociados CP, assumed his new role as Chair of the AGN Central & South America Region. This appointment brings with it a wealth of expertise and a fresh perspective to the dynamic field of accounting.
Oscar is a highly accomplished Certified Public Accountant with over 35 years of invaluable experience. He has received extensive training in South American countries and the USA, further enhancing his global perspective and proficiency in the field. He has demonstrated exceptional dedication to his craft, and his contributions to the AGN community are with great enthusiasm.

Together with Mario Lagos, Partner at Work Consulting in Chile, they represent the CSA Board that continues to safeguard the well-being and prosperity of the region. We are excited about some important opportunities on the horizon for CSA members, and we are working on productive development over the coming months.
One of the first actions from the new chair will be to start contacting AGN firms individually to hear about needs and priorities. This proactive approach underscores Falconí’s commitment to fostering meaningful connections and understanding the specific challenges faced by member firms in the region.
