AGN International is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Melissa Lingo, Business Development Manager at James Moore & Co., who has been named the 2026 Business Developer of the Year by the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM).
Presented as part of the 2026 AAM Marketing Achievement Awards, the honour recognises excellence in business development innovation, growth leadership, and client and prospect development within the accounting profession.
Melissa was recognised for her transformative impact on the firm’s construction segment, where she implemented a strategic and disciplined approach to business development that drove significant growth and strengthened the firm’s advisory capabilities. In just three years within public accounting, her leadership contributed to a 427% increase in new business and more than doubled total segment revenue.
The award also highlights Melissa’s collaborative and relationship-focused approach to growth. Through coaching, strategic leadership, and a consultative sales methodology, she has helped elevate business development capabilities across the firm while strengthening client relationships and long-term value creation.
