James Moore continues its strong momentum in 2025 with the expansion of its Municipal Financial Support Services (MFSS) team and another prestigious national recognition for workplace equity.
The firm has welcomed two highly respected leaders in governmental finance—Vince Tenaglia, CPFO, CGFO, and Lorrie Brinson, CPA, CGFO—further strengthening its advisory capabilities for municipalities across Florida and beyond.
New MFSS Team Members
Vince Tenaglia has joined the firm as Director of Governmental Advisory Services, bringing more than 20 years of experience in governmental finance and administration. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles including assistant city manager and finance director for several municipalities. At James Moore, he will oversee financial, budgetary and advisory services for government clients, helping them navigate complex operational and compliance responsibilities.
Earlier this year, the firm also welcomed Lorrie Brinson as Manager in the Governmental Advisory Services team. With over two decades of experience, Lorrie is widely recognised as one of Florida’s leading speakers in governmental accounting. She regularly presents at major industry events such as the FGFOA Annual Conference, the School of Government Finance, and FICPA state and local government conferences. In her new role, she manages outsourced advisory services and supports the firm’s governmental audit work.
Continued Growth of the MFSS
Since its launch in June, the MFSS team has provided scalable expertise to help municipalities maintain compliance, reduce audit findings and improve operational efficiency. The team’s rapid growth reflects the rising demand for specialised financial support in the public sector.
