James Moore & Company is pleased to announce the firm has been named one of Accounting Today’s Firms to Watch nationwide! Accounting Today also included James Moore as one of its 2023 Regional Leaders.
Accounting Today, the leading information resource for public accountants nationwide, cited James Moore as one of 45 firms across the nation that bear watching (coming in at number 23). This selection is based on revenues and growth, with Accounting Today noting that some companies previously named to the list are now among the top 100 accounting firms in the country.
The organization also placed James Moore among the top accounting firms in the Gulf Coast region, an area that includes the states of Florida, Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. The firm recorded 27.09% growth in 2022—the largest growth figure in the region, at more than double the 11.81% average.
Firm managing partner Suzanne Forbes is quoted in Accounting Today’s report about where the opportunity for growth has emerged.
“Our clients’ businesses are becoming more sophisticated, and they expect more from their CPAs,” she stated in the report. “Accounting firms need to go beyond filing tax returns and preparing audits and develop a relationship with clients that are based on trust and understanding. A firm that can bring this multidisciplinary skill set and establish this trusted advisor relationship with clients will succeed and prosper.”
